Reasons Not To Run

A dominating young star who has torn Las Vegas dance floors up since his first Vegas residency in 2017 has announced his return this year. Christian Smith, known to bass music enthusiasts as Crankdat, is bringing his remix heavy portfolio back to Hakkasan Nightclub. Originally turning down a full athletic scholarship to Kent State University where he was ranked nationally in Track & Field, Crankdat decided to pursue DJing full-time in hopes of fully realizing his potential.  Festival edits of Sheck Wes, Famous Dex, Jaden Smith and Fetty Wap catapulted the 21-year-old producer’s career from opening slots at local concerts to headlining The Strip’s premier nightlife destination.

Game On

Two years after his breakthrough collaboration, “Game Over,” Crankdat’s name went viral in the festival scene where his drive and determination cemented a foundation of fans around the country. Recently putting out a remix EP of Travis Scott’s “Astroworld,” the former No. 1 album on the “Billboard 200” chart receives a refreshing ‘re-crank’ of “No Bystanders,” “Wake Up” and “Sicko Mode.” Guaranteed to raise standards even higher, Hakkasan Nightclub’s commitment to bringing the best performers to Las Vegas continues with Crankdat’s promising return.
