As wild as weekends can be, Tiësto, Lil Jon, NGHTMRE, and Illenium rallied behind the Hakkasan banner to deliver an unforgettable anniversary five years in the making. Held at the iconic Hakkasan Nightclub inside MGM Grand Las Vegas, industry leaders gathered to commemorate a historic moment for the world’s hottest nightlife group.
Kicking off on Thursday with Lil Jon hosting a special “About Last Night” performance, attendees experienced club rocking & moonwalking as a world-renowned Michael Jackson impersonator made a guest appearance on stage. The “Smooth Criminal” look-alike electrified the night as crowds sang along to mega-hits “Billie Jean” and “Thriller” while Avion shots were handed to fans in a mesmerizing fashion.
Continuing the momentum into Friday, “Gud Vibrations” extraordinaire NGHTMRE pushed expectations even higher with a bass-laced performance that set Hakkasan’s atmosphere ablaze with breakdancing & headbanging.
Leading Saturday’s main event, the King himself, Tiësto, brought a MVP performance to an all-star weekend as Hakkasan’s Five-Year Anniversary reached its peak. As the night went on, Hakkasan Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Nick McCabe, presented the “Boom” producer with a custom plaque and six-tiered Tiësto-themed cake topped with Perrier-Jouët champagne to commemorate the legendary milestone. Later in the evening, partygoers were filled with excitement as Tiësto’s electrified set turned up to the next level when fellow resident Martin Garrix pumped up crowds with a surprise guest appearance. Following a back-to-back performance alongside his longtime supporter & friend, Garrix went on to headlining a sold out crowd the next day during Wet Republic Ultra Pool’s Grand Opening celebration.
Closing out the weekend with refreshing vibes, Illenium’s Sunday showcase featured mid-tempo madness as no genre was off limits for the Denver-based artist. Through innovative ideas and dedicated teamwork, Hakkasan Group brought some of the most iconic artists under one roof to deliver an unforgettable anniversary experience. Watch the video here.
