Hakkasan Dominates EDC Week

Superstars In The City of Lights

Absolutely commanding the Las Vegas Strip with Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in town, Hakkasan Nightclub collected mainstage superstars Tiësto, Calvin Harris, Above & Beyond, Hardwell, and Post Malone Wednesday, May 16 through Sunday, May 20 to push expectations even higher for nightlife’s most recognizable brand. Gathering attendees on ‘Common Ground,’ trance superstars Above & Beyond kicked things off Wednesday by bringing their global following under one roof for another session of Group Therapy. Gaining momentum, Hakkasan Nightclub hosted Hardwell on Thursday who emphasized the “big” in big room house with chart topping anthems and fresh collaborations.

While news of a royal wedding trended in England, it was in the City of Lights that a king returned to the throne in front of a sold-out crowd as Tiësto blew off the doors in a special back to back set with Hardwell on Friday. Upward on the climb to success, Hakkasan Nightclub brought over fellow Hakkasan Group resident, Calvin Harris, on Saturday to spin an eclectic set of deep house, hip hop, and EDM classics that proved his status as a top DJ. Finishing on the highest of notes, Post Malone completed the incredible weekend on Sunday with his 2018 Official Billboard Music Awards After-Party performance.

Celebrities were in no short supply Sunday evening as singer songwriter Halsey, Atlanta-born rapper T.I., hip-hop artist French Montana, country star Brett Young, and former member of Fifth Harmony turned solo act Normani Kordei all made appearances throughout the weekend to exemplify Hakkasan’s status as a premier nightlife experience.
